Automated Storage Systems

This section lists all the parameters and data required to configure and synchronize your automated storage systems with Fox4work. The configuration for each unit (Kardex, Hänel, Lista, Thurmetal) relies on four essential pillars:

  • Network & Communication: System IP address, dedicated TCP/IP ports, and native communication protocols.

  • Physical Mapping: Structure dimensions, number and type of trays/drawers, maximum clearance height, and overall weight capacity.

  • Space Segmentation: Precise breakdown of trays into sub-locations (cells, bins, dividers) for detailed stock coordinate management.

  • Behavior & Safety: Configuration of movement speeds, height sensors, picking assistance tools (LED/laser pointers), and safety light curtains.
