Important Information Only commercially available containers with a closed, double bottom approved by Kardex Produktion Deutschland GmbH may be stored. Manufacturer-specific containers must be submitted for testing and approval via a price inquiry to the Neuburg plant.

Containers and trays must be equipped with a barcode label for both visual and automatic recognition.

We recommend labeling containers and trays so that the barcode and number are on the front, while only the number is on the back. This makes it easy to verify if the container is stored in the correct orientation. For containers with multiple storage locations, this is essential to avoid displaying incorrect items. All containers must be labeled consistently.

Due to the center bar on the VBM Box, labels cannot be placed in the middle. Therefore, labels must be positioned as close as possible to the center bar, either to the left or to the right.

Label sizes must fit the corresponding area on the container. Below is the example for the VBM Box

The barcode must have a height of at least 20 mm. Using the Kardex software, the LR35 uses 7-digit numbers as standard (numeric only, including leading zeros). For example: 0000001, 0000010, 0000124, etc.

Important Information:

The lateral distance (quiet zone) between the edge of the label and the first bar of the barcode must be 3 to 4 times the maximum width of the widest space between the barcode bars.

The conveyor connection is equipped with a stationary barcode scanner.
